Empress Zaina Arkeni
A rare combination of stunning beauty and talent, Arkeni is a true jewel and perfectly cast as the vivacious Lavita in “Wigger”. While growing up in Louisiana and Los Angeles Arkeni was exposed to world-class jazz, R&B , Blure, Rock and reggae music and began singing and acting in front of a live audiences , Film and TV at the age of five. Her formal acting and music training includes the Children's Theater at the University of California, Riverside and the Cal State-Fullerton International Thespian Society. She also received dance training at Cal State-Fullerton and Pepperdine University. She is a veteran actress and has been in numerous movies, TV appearances and theater productions. Arkeni writes and arranges music and her style is said to be “a mesmerizing mix of old school, blues, rock, neo-funk, hip-hop, rock, jazz, gospel and the spoken word”. She also choreographs and stages her own shows. She spends her free time swimming, skating, horseback riding and marksmanship training. Arkeni is a refreshing renaissance entertainer--the complete actor/singer/dancer package that is reminiscent of the golden age of entertainment and is sorely missed today.
